Based on our previous discussion I guess this Grendel before the fated day of meeting with humans and becoming the beast we know today.
This is a great image. Wondering why Grendel would be wearing clothing.
Larry what happened? you havent post any new items in awhile. If you are going through any hard times i really really hope you overcome them. I finally got photoshop cs6 and manga studio. Im still trying to learn how to use photoshop its really hard to use but im getting better. Its taking me long only because school and plus i dont want to rush it. I hope you return and hope your doing well.
Julius, thank you, sir! It’s really great to hear from you! I am glad to see your feedback. I am even more excited that you are continuing your goals as well (I still remember your essay about how Udon’s The Art of Street Fighter really inspired you to make art). So, I want to wish you well with those goals.
I want you to know that I too picked up Manga Studio 5 as well. I’ve been watching videos about how to use Manga Studio, and it seems like a very powerful tool to use for creating comics. I can’t wait to get started using it, but during the school year, I get really busy (yes, I am still at CCP in the evenings). By the way, don’t worry about Photoshop. Just keep at it. You’ll get there. It’s a constant learning process. You will always have something to learn with Photoshop (and I’m jealous that you have CS6; I only have CS5.5). Just know that you have one of the powerful tools–if not the most powerful tool–that you can have to help you develop your skills as an artist. Don’t get me wrong: It can be a real pain in the ass to work with, but I’ve been at it part-time for two years, and the things that I still learn completely blow my mind! I’ll never stop learning the things I can do with it.
Thanks for the concern. Things have been a little tough, but I am hanging in there. I’ll get it back together.
Dear?
I just went through all of your pages here on the website. I went through each and every single panel. I may not have seen all your rough sketches, but one thing that I am able to see is your improvement. This includes the inking, the coloring, the drawing and sketching—everything. I know you may not have the amount of audience you want to have. I know you may think your comic isn’t the best. If that is only a self-motivation for you, then fine. But I want you to know that, you have an audience, probably not the biggest you wish to have, but you have audience. You have an audience that will keep your work going further and further. The Cause—this comic, it is well-developed and well-written. It contains some of the most bad-ass drawings ever—very enjoyable to the eye. And most importantly, this comic never lacks to show a passionate authorial presence. I want you to keep going. I think your audience would love an update.
Why thank you for the warm sentiments. It’s been a little tough lately. I am indeed working on the pages. I have recently finished drawing one of the most detailed and complex things I have ever drawn. It’s taken me over twenty hours just for this single drawing. I am sure there was an easier way to do it, but I had to do it my way. Anyway, I appreciate your support. I will be back to posting a few pages sooner than you think. Give me a couple of weeks, and I’ll be up and running–for a few pages at least.
Lol. It’s actually nothing so special. In fact, when you see it, it may be just a thing of, “Ho-Hum”> But the drawing actually took quite some effort on part.
YES!!! So exciting!!! Keep it up, Dear!!
Trying to!
You really did a good job with the coloring on this page, needless to say the background is incredible
I’m glad you think so. This image represents a step for me. That is, this style is where I will be moving towards with my “illustration” technique.
Well, it’s definitely a good step forward for the illustration. I think you’re gonna get even better with it.
That is the plan, sir.

Actually just remembered that he did mock human behavior, therefore probably picked it up from them

The most complex and detailed thing you’ve ever drawn, I want to see. This is precisely what makes me so excited
